Well......one of the most important things in my life has ended, like all things must. It's very sad. Graduation was the best it has ever been. The spirituality was very strong and I was surrounded by the most loving people I'll ever meet. I actually cried for the first time in four and a half years. It felt great, even if the reason was saddening. I was calm and somber up until my friend Lekey went over to hug her younger sister Anna, and I just lost it. I cried again when we were writing worship journals. I was getting emotional while writing my last paragraph, and started tearing up as I was signing my name as That One Guy named Brad....at this point I was sobbing and ended name with the en. I ripped the pages out of the notebook, closed the notebook, neatly laid my pages down, put the pen down, and cried into my arms. High school graduation felt like nothing, literally NOTHING, compared to this. High school graduation was expected throughout my whole life. I had just happened to come across Southern Appalachian Young Friends.....and I'm glad I did. i had hoped I started earlier because I became a stronger Quaker for myself and I was more open about myself than ever, and SAYF taught me that.
Things are exciting now because I'm officially a Young Adult Friend, and I got to walk both ways across the Warren Wilson bridge at night (it had neat lamps across the railing).
College summer orientation starts on Thursday (EXCITEMENT!)
I may start a new blog on my college experience, but I'll venture back here once in a while.
Also, Twilight is not the best thing in the world (that belongs to Harry Potter), but I am finishing the Vampire Academy series and The Hungers Games trilogy.

Recycling!
I help recycle by putting paper (i.e mail, newspapers), certain plastics, aluminum, cardboard, etc in our recycle bin to be picked up by the garbage/recycling company. I also have reused cat food cups, chicken wire, and napkins for art projects. When I eat oranges/clementines, other foods, or even have spinach that is past its freshness date, I either put them in a compost bin whenever I can, or find a place outside where I can toss them so they can decompose into the earth.

So life!
I am transitioning to my last year of high school. It's gonna be a great year!
I really hope there's a lot of opportunity that comes my way. I would love to get back into theatre....which is mainly why I'm not cheering again...ever.
Oh yeah, I'm a National Champion!!!!!
That was way back in March at Myrtle Beach. It was one of the best experiences ever!
Now it's about....senior pics tomorrow....and The Glee Project and just enjoying my summer.
Trips to West Virginia (family reunion) and to Michigan from there (family trip).
Happy PRIDE!...and GO NEW YORK for promoting marriage equality for all!
Next year, when I'm 18, I'm definitely gonna start go to Pridefests....since a lot of the fun seems to happen to those 18 and over. LOL!
I can't believe I'll be legal in about 4 months.
It's exciting.
Life is changing, but that's how it goes.

Things that I am excited for
I haven't been all that happy with how things have been going, so to be more optimistic, I'm making a list of all the things I am excited for.
1. District Governor's Cup meet - I am confident I will make it to Regional at least one event.
2. GLEE! I'm curious as to what happens between Kurt and Blaine the second half of Season 2.
3. Possibly getting to compete at Regional for the first time in 4 years.
4. Possible Nurturer's retreat the last weekend of February - I haven't been to one yet and the calendar is mostly blank for that weekend, so yeah.
5. Last weekend in March = Asheville SAYF retreat
6. April SAYF retreat in Knoxville - Berea is planning it.
7. Chicago trip for band
8. End of school
9. SAYMA - even though awesome seniors are graduated from SAYF, I'm excited!
10. Senior year
11. Turning 18.
12. Holidays like Halloween and Christmas and stuff that can wait! LOL!

First blog post of the year: 2011 edition!
It's 2011.
Hehe. 1/1/11
I haven't thought of a resolution as a lot of mine from last year seemed to happen.
I guess I'll start listing them off:
~ Finishing Junior Year with kick-ass grades
~ At least qualify to Regional (after 4 years)
~ SAYF it up!
~ Get into GSP (though it might not happen, and that's fine).
~ Retire from cheerleading (yes, retire)
~ Try out for All-Regional Band and hopefully make it
Oh yeah:
~ Win multiple gold medals at the Olympics! ;)
